Since 2022, Whiskey&Co. has successfully issued the token, key3 (hereinafter "key3FiNANCiE")’ on the Japan-exclusive platform FiNANCiE, with all six token sales selling out in record time. This overwhelming demand has cultivated a thriving community of 1,500 token holders and 3,000 active members. Due to Japan’s stringent regulations prohibiting the sale of blockchain-based fungible tokens (FT) without a financial license, we are excited to introduce key3NFT to our global audience, giving whiskey and bourbon enthusiasts worldwide a chance to be part of this exclusive journey.

About Mishima City, Shizuoka
Nestled in the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture, Mishima City is a picturesque 'City of Water,' nourished by the pure spring waters of Mount Fuji. With its rich history, Mishima has long been a cultural crossroads, welcoming travelers from near and far to the revered Mishima Taisha Shrine. In 2017, the city achieved another milestone by becoming Japan’s first 'Shochu Special Zone,' a testament to its dedication to traditional craft spirit production and deep connection to its local roots.

Distillery Water Dragon began operations in May 2023, following a complete renovation of a former clothing store built nearly 100 years ago, now recognized as a registered cultural property of Japan. Located along the approach to Mishima Taisha Shrine, the distillery is a rare sight in the heart of the city, featuring an attached bar and restaurant that attract not only whiskey enthusiasts but also locals and tourists alike. One of our goals in placing the distillery in the city center is to establish it as a destination in itself—a symbol of the town and a hub for tourism and cultural exchange. With Mishima just an hour away from Tokyo by Shinkansen, it is the perfect location for our project, offering both accessibility and charm.
We began with hand-drawn rough sketches to pursue our ideal spirit quality and partnered with Arnold Holstein, a renowned German manufacturer, to create our custom stills.
The distillation system combines three key components: a pot still, a rectification column, and botanical trays.
The Whiskey&Co. Model (W Model)
Whiskey&Co. produces its whiskey in limited quantities, meaning it is primarily available exclusively in Mishima City, Shizuoka. However, those who hold the key3NFT are regarded as 'digital citizens' of Mishima and are granted special access to purchase whiskey online. This system of 'local-only sales with online access for key3NFT holders' is what we call the “The Whiskey&Co. Model: W Model”.

We aim to bring more visitors to Mishima City by offering our whiskey exclusively here, contributing to the local community. However, we understand that not everyone can visit in person. By becoming an key3NFT holder, you can still support our journey and gain access to our limited-edition whiskey. Both an increase in visitors and the growth of key3NFT holders will play a vital role in expanding Mishima's community and fostering meaningful connections across the world.
key3 Community
Since October 2022, Whiskey&Co. has been selling the key3FiNANCiE exclusively on the Japan-based platform FiNANCiE. (Please note that the FiNANCiE version of key3 is not an NFT.) All six of our token sales to date have sold out, and as of October 2024, the project is supported by approximately 1,500 token holders and 3,000 community members.
Over the course of six token sales, each sale has sold out quickly, with the token’s initial price $0.064 now stabilizing in the $0.38-0.45 range on the secondary market. key3FiNANCiE has become one of the most watched projects on FiNANCiE. Our key3FiNANCiE holders have also shown tremendous support for our distillery operations. For example, when new barrels arrived from the U.S., they helped with unloading and storage, and many volunteered to peel large quantities of potatoes needed for shochu production at the end of the year.
We regularly share updates from the distillery, including insights into the whiskey-making process and exclusive product offers, while also maintaining a strong, responsive line of communication with the community. Today, the FiNANCiE key3FiNANCiE holder community is an indispensable part of Whiskey&Co.

In typical markets, when token prices soar, investors often rush to sell for profit, driving prices down. Similarly, when prices drop, panic selling accelerates the decline.

Original Shochukonohana
A special shochu produced only once a year.Made with sweet potatoes fromMishima and black koji from Shizuoka, this shochu is crafted using a fermentation process that maximizes the unique characteristics of the sweet potatoes with a carefully selected yeast. Unlike traditional methods, it employs an original technique using a bourbon-style cooker to capture the aroma of the sweet potatoes. Additionally, copper stills, rather than stainless steel, are used to create a smooth and rich flavor. This shochu offers a truly special taste experience.

A '0-Year Aged' bourbon-style whiskey base spirit. This clear, unaged whiskey offers a pure taste derived from its ingredients and fermentation process. Its name comes from 'Moonshine,' the illicit whiskey made during the Prohibition era of the 1930s. Use of Funds
Funds raised through key3NFT sales will be used to support distillery operations, whiskey research and development, sales efforts, and various community-driven events. These resources will be dedicated to all initiatives related to the creation and promotion of new whiskeys.
Japanese Whiskey Market
The export volume and value of Japanese whiskey have been increasing annually since the 2010s.
In 2011, the export value was $12,642,474 and by 2021, it had reached $294,132,962—approximately 23 times greater in just 10 years, clearly reflecting the growing global demand.
The price of whiskey per liter in Japan has been steadily increasing over the years. In 2010, the price was $4.05, but by 2022, it had risen to $6.84— a 69% increase. This indicates that the value of whiskey is becoming more recognized within Japan, and the premiumization of whiskey is steadily progressing.

Important Notice
- The key3NFT issued in this project is not a financial security under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, nor is it a crypto asset under the Payment Services Act.
- Please note that refunds or returns will not be accepted after purchasing an key3NFT.
- Please comply with the laws of each respective country regarding the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Depending on the sales performance of the key3NFT, sales may end before the scheduled sales period concludes.
- Conversely, the sales period may be extended. Please note that no refunds or returns will be accepted in the event of such an extension.
- As long as whiskey production continues, the sale of key3NFT and products will also continue, but this is not guaranteed indefinitely.

Production Schedule
- The right to purchase bottles of 3-year aged products will be granted starting in June 2027, when bottling begins.
- 5-year aged products are scheduled for release in June 2029, and 10-year aged products are scheduled for release in June 2034.
Timing for the Distribution of Priority Purchase Rights
This project is about experiencing the creation of a regional brand together with you. Barrel aging began in May 2023, and bottling is scheduled for June 2026. Therefore, the first round of priority purchase rights will be granted to you, but these rights cannot be exercised until June 2026. Consequently, there will be no allocation of priority purchase rights for 2024 and 2025. Similarly, the 5-year aged bottle purchase rights will not be granted until 2027, and the 10-year aged bottle purchase rights will not be granted until 2032.
Grant Date of Rights and Purchase Period
he initial grant date for the purchase rights of the 3-year aged bottles will be March 31, 2026, two months prior to the planned bottling date in June (this will also be announced within the community). From that point onward, rights will be granted annually based on the key3NFT holding status as of March 31, and the actual purchase period will be from June 1 to August 31 each year.
Please note that if the purchase right is not used within this period, the priority purchase right for that year will expire. The same schedule applies to the 5-year aged bottles and 10-year aged bottles, whose priority purchase rights will be granted in the respective years five and ten years later.
Flow for Granting Purchase Rights
When the grant date for the purchase rights arrives, you will be required to fill in your email address and mailing address via a dedicated form to complete your purchase application (this will be announced in the community).
All communications from Whiskey&Co. regarding the whiskey purchase will be sent to the email address registered at the time of the application through the dedicated form.

Possibility of Early Product Launch and Risks of Production Delays
The Japan Spirits amp; Liqueurs Makers Association has established voluntary standards for "Japanese whiskey" labeling, including a guideline requiring "at least 3 years of barrel aging." However, if Whiskey&Co. determines that the whiskey has reached sufficient quality to be released, it may be possible to bring the product to market earlier, such as after 2.5 years. In such cases, purchase rights will be granted ahead of schedule (this will be announced within the community). Please note that if the whiskey is released before 3 years of barrel aging, it cannot be labeled as "Japanese whiskey."
Additionally, in the event of unexpected circumstances such as severe weather, natural disasters, or fires that cause production delays or require a restart, the granting of purchase rights may be postponed. However, all other benefits and events will continue as planned, and there will be no refunds or compensation due to delays in the granting of purchase rights.
