Remember me
Distillery Drift Mark
Ama Town in the Oki Islands, which we have chosen as our base, is an "Island of the Gods" chronicled in the Kojiki’s myth of national creation, while also bearing a history as a land of exile where Emperor Gotoba was once banished.
However, we do not call this place the edge of the world. The word "Drift" in our distillery's name, "Drift Mark," does not mean simply being swept away by the wind and waves. Rather, it embodies the willpower and strength to forge ahead, resisting external forces.
The distillery is located along the shoreline near Hishiura Port, the gateway to Ama Town. Through the glass facade, visitors can glimpse the production floor, where the pot stills gleam.
The defining identity of this distillery lies in its setting, where the sea breeze and the sound of the waves constantly accompany the production process.
A Still Refined and Improved from Our First Distillery, Water Dragon
Just like our flagship, Distillery Water Dragon, this distillery features equipment specialized for our Japanese "Bourbon Whiskey" Style. Furthermore, it boasts vapor infusion capabilities for crafting our craft gin and other spirits.
During our distillery tours, visitors can enjoy an insider's view of various facilities, including the stills up close—an immersive experience uniquely possible at a small-scale distillery.
Born from Hohomi's Amakawa River. The Japanese "Bourbon Whiskey" Style.
Legend has it that this river was named by the revered monk Gyoki during the Nara period. Officially designated as one of Japan's "100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters," it boasts an abundant daily flow of 400 tons and has never once run dry. While it once served as the community's water source, today it continues to nourish the local terroir as essential agricultural water.
An exceptional spirit in the midst of your voyage.
Situated right before Hishiura Port—the ferry terminal and gateway connecting the island to the world—is "Drifters Café & Bar." Through its open glass facade, visitors can simultaneously take in the calm sea stretching out before them and the beautiful, custom-made still standing majestically in the back.
Here, you can enjoy our limited-edition whiskey produced on-site, as well as our internationally gold-medal-winning craft gin, "GodSpirits," through special pairings with Oki beef, fresh seafood, and other rich local delicacies of the island.
Across the counter, our "Drifters" (distillery staff) will directly share the behind-the-scenes stories of our daily whiskey production and the tales of the island. As a hub for those visiting Ama Town, we invite you to fully immerse yourself in the ultimate, seriously crafted adult play—embodying our brand theme, "Playful!!!"

Oki Born. Oki Aged. Oki Area Limited Edition.
In The Oki Area
We have established a small-scale distillery on the island to foster mutual branding between the island and our facility. By focusing on quality "small-batch, limited-edition whiskey production," we aim to create a strong bond between our craft and the community.
In The Oki Area
By limiting the availability of our whiskey to the Oki area, we aim to increase local interactions and further enhance the brand value of our "small-batch, limited-edition whiskey."
In The Oki Area
We are transforming the entire island into a "whiskey aging warehouse." By establishing storage facilities across the island, each warehouse reflects the character of the island, infusing our whiskey with a unique identity. We are creating aging spaces that are carefully nurtured over time alongside the island itself.
